Offset Umbrellas Have A Unique Beauty All Their Own
Most of us have memories of walking in the rain with an umbrella to shelter and protect us, but umbrellas these days are so much more than protection from the occasional down pour. When I first laid eyes on an offset umbrella, I wasn't quite sure how to take it. It was not only big in size and style but far more advanced and superior than any umbrella I knew of.

Offset umbrellas have the ability to adjust to any angle you desire. When the sun moves and changes direction as the day progresses, offset umbrellas also can be adjusted to block intense rays. They come in a variety of styles, sizes and colors.
When you look at this offset umbrella it almost looks poised and suspended, like a piece of art. It’s stunning on its own, but with the addition of chairs, dining table and a backyard location, you have the ultimate picture perfect outdoor area for family and guests.
Offset umbrellas can be a great substitute for expensive awnings and pergolas. Those of you who live in small town houses or rentals can take advantage of the fact that you can place them in a small patio or back yard area without the worry of bothering your landlord with unnecessary construction. When you do have a chance to purchase your own home you can take your offset umbrella with you.
There are several types of offset umbrellas. The C-series side post umbrellas feature tilting canopies, 360° rotation, they have easy crank opening systems and a wind vent. Offset umbrellas come in the P-series side post umbrellas (just like the umbrella featured in this photo). These are ideal for covering dining tables, lounge chairs by a poolside area and any deck area that gets lots of sun exposure. The P-series umbrellas feature 360° rotation at the base, and have an easy crank opening system, a wind vent and valances. Due to their large size, most do not have the option of tilting.
Let’s talk color! This offset umbrella has Sunbrella awning fabric made in a Tuscan #4677. Sunbrella outdoor fabrics come with a 10 year limited warranty against color or strength loss from normal usage and conditions like fading, mildewing and any atmospheric chemicals. Beauty, durability, and resilient, these outdoor fabrics are the icing on the cake. So don’t hesitate to purchase an offset umbrella, they are an attractive addition to your outdoor area and most importantly they are practical and sensible.
